|
|
| Quick question, I am starting an online dating site/speed dating site and looking to set up an online merchant account. From what I've been hearing, many merchant account providers won't let me open up an account because internet dating sites are "too risky". Is there any merchant account providers you can reccomend who won't give me such a hard time? |

If your site is adult they may find it 'too risky', but if there's no adult material I am sure it will be a LOT easier to get a merchant account.
Why don't you take a look at metacharge.com?
Good luck! |

Because they absolutely suck! They use to do loads of different payment methods, but now they are scaling back to just do SMS and credit cards!
They still dont do debit cards (they had them turned off by their processor in oct!)
Sinking ship!! |

| Dating membership sights are considered high risk, by the card associations. A merchant account is not difficut to obtain you just need to deal with a processor that understands your industry and needs. |

| Use the metacharge API to process reccuring and use secpay for manual transactions. We use three companies and metacharge give the best service and fastest payout. |
