Internet relationships is a growing population that can't be ignored any more. People are making this way of social behavior a common practice. People met and fall in love while chatting on-line (Internet) all the time....So what's the big deal!?

Not all online dating situations are peaches and cream. The thing is interracial couples battle against public prejudice and family opinions on a higher issue scale. :?

But on the same note is it safe to say that internet meetings between faceless names on-line is taking the place of meeting people at bars, clubs, churches, parties and other social gatherings?

I know people are looking outside the box (environment) for something different and better than what they're use too! Single people are tired of being alone and they're seeking companionship where ever they can find it!

And it seems to me the internet is where they're looking.

If that's the case....

It's great for everyone practically. If you have a busy schedule, are shy, want to meet someone outside your normal circle, etc. Or even someone miles away. I had a 2 year long distance relationship (like 6,000 mile long distance) and it worked out great.

Just gotta remind them to have a healthy skepticism of potential dates, and not put their eggs all in one basket, until they earn the trust in person. (that also helps keep your return revenue up, and lowers possible disappointment factor if they get their hopes too high, so they might return if they don't get bummed out!)
